I didn’t actually see the kitty until the day we picked him up. I had seen a few fuzzy pictures…but it was still a surprise, nonetheless. His name ended up being Karen…no, that is not a mistake…and yes, our male cat has a female name.

He is named after the cougar from the movie: “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby”…Josh got to name the cat, and that is the name he chose…just like that!

As a side note, I also used to have two tarantulas, Barbara and Victor, but they died before Josh and I moved in together…I think he was happy with that arrangement…considering he was always paranoid about them escaping and crawling under the covers when he was sleeping, hahaha!
