Jackets

Not all dogs are built the same. Some are small, some are big, some can swim and some can run for long periods. Some dogs don't have hair, some are short haired and some have double coats. A thick, double coated dog could live outside in the winter -- if he spends enough time outside in the fall to start developing his thick undercoat which he will need to keep him warm.

If a dog is small, doesn't have hair or is short haired, he will not have the same tolerance. These dogs get cold much faster than those with double coats. General rule with these dogs is if you feel cold, they will too. Somedays a sweater will do and others will require a jacket for added warmth.

Clothing for dogs is not silly. In many cases, it is a necessity. This, of course, does not mean that just any clothing will do. Your dog deserves the best -- functional, comfortable and stylish clothing.
