Dear Mr. Squirrel,

I see you every day and I know it is you making the noise to get my attention.  I don't think you are very nice!

You think because I am on a leash, it is ok to make fun of me and then run off into a tree.  Well, I don't like it!  I haven't figured it out, but I am sure one day I will learn how to climb a tree!  Yep, I will!

For now, I have to tell you I was thinking of you last night....as I had my dinner...it was delicious!  I was thinking how lucky I was.  I don't have to panic and run around looking nuts and stuff on the ground to get me through the winter.  I have humans.  They always make sure I have enough to eat....and let me tell you it is woofalicious!  

I also thought of you in the middle of the night....when I was thirsty.  As I hopped out of bed, ambled up to my water dish and had a drink.....yep!  I thought of you stuck high in your tree with no water dish in the middle of the night.  And then this morning, as I was snuggled in bed all warm and cosy......knowing there was nothing I had to worry about as I have people. People who love me and take care of me.

So Mr. Squirrel, bring it on!  I have decided in writing this that you are just jealous of me and my life....sigh........Enjoy your tree, enjoy your nuts and enjoy scurrying through the leaves.  I have it made.  I have won the animal life jackpot and am sitting pretty in my warm comfy house for the winter.

Woof!

Maybe the next time I see you, I may throw you a nut.
