Woof!

This is my first post.  I'm a bit nervous as I have never written before but Boss told me to give it a try. 

I'm Digger, Boss's friend.  I live in a condominium but we are on the ground floor and have a backyard for me to play in.  When we were littler, mostly Boss was, we used to be able to run around loose and play with our dog toys.  We used to play chase a lot, too!  Boss cheats on the corners....he runs like a bunny!

There are many humans who come and say hello to me....the security guard on his rounds and the gardener guys are some of them.  They are nice.  

My backyard faces the street and sometimes I get to watch the firetrucks and motorcycles go over the hill.  I love them!  They make noises that seem to say, "Come Digger, Come follow us!"  I don't try to go anymore.  I am older now and I have learned that you are not supposed to try and jump through the screen door, jump the fence and go running over down the road.  Yep!  I learned that it is wrong.

I stay home now.  Still, sometimes I watch them and I dream........woof!

What I don't understand though is why the man on the bike never says hello.  I see him everyday.  Often I see him twice a day.  I look at him and he seems so happy.  I stand at the window and I say hello....I say hello and I ask him if he wants to play.  He doesn't answer.  He looks ahead, peddles and keeps going.  If anyone knows him, tell him I am a good dog.  I just want to play.  I don't bite. Woof!

We could go for a run.  He could ride his bike and I could run beside him.  or we could play with my dog toys.  My new favourite is my ducky.  He doesn't squeak, but he is good to play catch with.  or I would let him play with my crunchy critter...I never saw a human play with one, but I would let him.  

Today it is nice out, so I am going to go for a long walk.  I normally don't walk too far in summer, but this year it is not too hot, I like it.  I don't get overheated.  Maybe I will see some of my friends on my walk.  

This wasn't so bad.
