About the birds and the cat…The birds’ cages used to be in the living room, on the main floor of the house, but as soon as the cat spotted the birds, we knew there would be serious trouble if the birds weren’t relocated ASAP!

The budgie didn’t mind the move – he’s a happy little guy that adapts to anything. Pippy, on the other hand, was not happy about the move because he liked watching us in the living room and knowing what we were doing.

But now he’s right close to a sunny window and gets to watch other birds outside and can sing to them, so he is adjusting, but slowly. Karen sometimes sits outside the room where the birds are and listens very intently to their songs and chirping and he paws lightly at the door and cries…I wonder what he’s thinking????
